One arrest has been made in connecting to the incident on Chestnut Street Sunday, according to Livermore police.
Nobody was injured in the shooting, which Livermore police believe was dispute between rival gangs, the Norteno's and the Sureno's.
Roger Aleman, 18, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and has been booked at Santa Rita Jail.
Several witnesses told Livermore police that four Norteno gang members confronted two or three Sureno gang members in front of a home on Chestnut Street at about 3:05 p.m.
Armed with handgun, one of the Sureno members fired two or three shots at the four Norteno gang members.
Livermore police said they quickly arrived on scene and detained several people who tried to flee after the incident occurred, including the four victims and the suspect who fired the shots.
The 1600 block of Chestnut Street was closed to traffic while officers searched the surrounding area for the outstanding subjects and for evidence of the crime.
